We made a quick trip to NYC to attend the Westminster Kennel Club show.
So proud of my boy! Breeder/owner handled.
Tony showed terrific and was awarded Best of Opposite Sex in a nice line-up of Griffs.
But besides attending the dog show, I had a wonderful time catching up with friends, seeing Broadway musical and enjoying good food and lovely company of friends.

Made it home Sunday after a wonderful trip to New Jersey and Pennsylvania to watch my Polly in two of the three largest dog shows in the USA. She didn't do too bad considering the really tough competition she was up against. She even gain a point towards her championship status.
The first and largest show is only held once every five years and had 4455 dogs in the competition. Everyone dressed in vintage costomes. What an experience! My bestie Nancy shared the experience with me and we made sure to hit a couple of quilt fabric stores. OMG what wonderful stores!!!!
We met up with my friend and mentor Valeria Rickard who's wonderful dogs really set the bar of who to try to beat. Although we had setbacks and issues at the shows all involved had a great time. Special thanks to Candice Waters who jumped in to show Polly when my knee buckled on Thursday. Valeria. Thanks for all the pointers in the ring. See you all at the National in Louisville! What a wonderful week!

Here are our JOVAL win pictures from the Brussels Griffon National Specialty

March

And not to be forgotten,
Our youngster Tuni (Joval’s Fortune Cookie) won Best in Sweepstakes at the Brussels Griffon National Specialty in Louisville. She is a natural born show girl and put on a stellar performance. Our sincere thanks to breeder judge Mr. Vance for finding her in such a competitive line up of many beautiful and promising Griff youngsters.
Special thanks to Joanne Thibault for her help with the youngsters

march

Our sweet Pia (Dashwood & Joval I only have Pies for You) finished her championship in style by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Brussels Griffon National Specialty in Louisville. On the following days, at the ABGA Supported Specialties, she was awarded Select Bitch three days in a row! Earning her the majority of points towards her Grand Championship.
But… I have to make a very special brag, the one that matters to me the most - this WB win is a 6th year in a row where a JOVAL bred female Brussels Griffon has won WB at the National Specialty. I am especially proud of this achievement and this level of consistency, considering that this is my second breed, and I have not been in Griffs as long as I have been in Airedales.

march

Last week we went to the Brussels Griffon National Specialty in Louisville which was truly AMAZING and one to never forget. I am still on cloud 9, and all of this is just now slowly starting to sink in.
Tony (BIS Am & Can GCH Joval Full of Pastabilities) WON the 2025 ABGA National Specialty!!! He showed his little heart out that day, gave it all and put on a lovely performance. We could not be more proud of this dog and everything he has achieved in his limited show career. Our sincere heartfelt appreciation to the judge, a toy dogs aficionado, Mr. David Fitzpatrick, for finding our dogs in a field of 84 beautiful Brussels Griffons.
Special thanks and greatest appreciation goes to Faye for all that she has done, and for great friendship and collaboration. Without her this win would not be possible.

- and we congratulate Janet (Walenga Material Girl) on winning Winners Bitch at the National and at supported entry on Thursday. Janet is co-bred and co-owned by me.
It was a great time seeing and spending time with many friends that I don’t get to see throughout the year.
Special thanks to Faye and Maureen for their support
And to John and Katerina for holding the fort down at home.

Sometimes things work themselves out in interesting ways…
And just like that - After one week of shows at the Nationals, three of our dogs ended up getting ranked in the top 5 Brussels Griffons in the country based on breed ranking:
- Clark is currently number 2
- Beau is number 4
- Espen number 5 overall and number One Bitch.
We are so proud of these dogs, and congrats to our co-owners and breeders, without whom we would not be able to achieve and enjoy this moment.

The Official pictures have finally arrived and I am extremely proud to present our team from this year’s Brussels Griffon National.
It has been a little over a week but what happened during the Nationals week in Louisville still seems like a big dream, someone else’s story, completely surreal.
I am so proud of everything that our dogs have achieved! And, as a breeder, to have some of the wins come from the Bred-by class is especially valuable.
It is such an honor to be recognized by so many judges while surrounded by and competing against the Best Griffs in the country!
